Brackley Swimming Club proudly announces its participation in the Witney Swimming Club Gala held on 7th July 2024. The event, hosted at the Witney Leisure Centre, saw over 200 swimmers from various clubs competing in a day of exciting and high-spirited races.
Brackley Swimming Club sent a dedicated team of swimmers, ranging from ages 10 to 18, who competed in multiple events across various age groups and strokes. This gala provided an excellent platform for the swimmers to showcase their talent, determination, and sportsmanship.
Team Manager, Rob Platt, commented on the team’s performance: “I am incredibly proud of our swimmers. They have trained tirelessly, and their hard work truly shone through during the competition. The camaraderie and support amongst the team were exceptional, and it was fantastic to see so many personal bests achieved.”
The Witney Swimming Club Gala is renowned for its friendly yet competitive atmosphere, and this year was no exception. It provided an invaluable experience for Brackley’s swimmers, allowing them to compete at a high level and gain confidence in their abilities.
